Graduating in Marine Science, he developed a deep understanding of aquatic ecosystems, fisheries, and the interplay of marine resources. Then he pursued a postgraduate degree in Aquatic Resource Management from the prestigious University of Stirling in the UK. He also obtained postgraduate degrees from the University of Dhaka in Disaster Management and Business Management with outstanding academic excellence.
Starting his career in Cox’s Bazar, a region synonymous with fisheries and aquaculture, Mansur played a pivotal role as a Project in Charge and Technical Officer. His work during this phase of his career involved managing critical projects, addressing technical challenges, and enhancing the productivity and sustainability of the Aquaculture sector and related business development. His hands-on experience prepared him to tackle complex challenges in the industry. With over 23 years of experience in the Aquaculture, Animal Health and Animal Feed sectors, Mansur’s expertise and leadership skills have led him to the position of General Manager at Purolife, where he oversees operations, leads teams, and drives innovation in fisheries and animal health as well as business strategies, contributing to innovations and sustainable growth.
